In this role you will apply a central foundation of functional principles, theories and concepts to assignments of an expanded scope following established guidelines and procedures. You will use your knowledge acquired through specialized training, education or previous experience managing product support and business performance of vendors. Your expertise and practical knowledge of applications developed within the business environment will be key in collaborating with worldwide and regional teams regarding service and support planning, implementation and performance. You will act as a trusted source and advisor with fellow team members by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts and customer service.
How you will make your mark:
Follow established guidelines and procedures.
Monitor product support business performance of vendors and help identify when corrective action is required.
Collaborate with regions/ worldwide (WW) regarding service and support planning, implementation and performance.
Report on business performance.
Support activities within specific area of portfolio and/or geographic responsibility. Is expected to collaborate across regions/geographies and WW teams to develop and/or implement new/enhanced services, solutions, or programs and associated processes to meet emerging customer/market needs and fuel profitable growth.
Perform and manage Outsourcing Request Central Administration (ORC) creation tasks, this can include Purchase order placement in working with various HPE Procurement tools
Perform cost management, purchase order management and support resolution management of vendor related issues
Perform business analysis, identify root cause, and develop recommendations/ solutions to drive business improvements.
Utilizes business skills to lead complex cross- functional activities that drive continuous growth of the services business.
Engage country and regional key stakeholder’s on savings and reduction processes and interlock on actions and process
Provide support on statements of work related to Vendors/Supplier providing support work for HPE
Typically 1+ years experience in directly related business.
Basic experience in business management, administrative/ project support role or relevant work experience.
Experience in relationship and/ or customer management role is good to have.
Fluent in written and verbal English
In-depth knowledge of the company’s organization and policies, services offerings, end to end processes, tools, and routes to market.
Medium to high knowledge of IT and services industry.
Problem detection and analysis of root cause.
Demonstrated proficiency in typing and grammar along with proper phone etiquette
Good organizational skills, high degree of accuracy, demonstrated capability working in a fast paced environment with a proven ability to multi-task.
Proven ability to achieve results, exercise independent judgment and handle unique situations to accomplish goals in tight time frames.
Demonstrated skills in negotiation, planning, and financial analysis.
Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution, problem solving with a willingness to collaborate with others working toward the greater good.
Medium level of planning, project management and change management skills. Project and change management training and certification as appropriate.
Good presentation skills. Ability to influence different functions, geographies, and the ability to build strong consensus. Impacts internal and external clients on WW basis.
Above average knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
