A new point for issuing temporary protection status to Ukrainian citizens fleeing the war has opened today at the Open Doors Situation Center for Ukraine. There will be three working points in it, which will process the documents of those wishing to obtain status.

The situation center is located in the capital’s Mladost district, 78 Alexander Malinov Blvd. The working hours of the point for issuing registration cards for temporary protection are from Monday to Saturday, from 10 am to 5 pm.

The procedure for issuing temporary protection status takes 5 to 15 minutes and is provided immediately. The rights that this status gives are different – registration card of a foreigner, the right to work and vocational training, the right to education for students and the right to access kindergarten for children under 6 years of age, the right to appropriate accommodation or funds for accommodation if necessary, etc.

So far, the status of temporary protection have received 45 137 Ukrainian citizens.

Full information on the status of temporary protection, the rights it provides, and any other issues on the subject can be found in the single portal for people affected by the war in Ukraine.
