Ukrainian children participated in the youth forum Voice it: An opinion that matters

Ukrainian children from the INTEGRIKO center in Varna took part in the annual edition of the youth forum Voice it: An opinion of importance. The theme of the forum this year is – Mental health, and the idea is to hear the child’s voice and to give every child the right to participate in the processes that affect him, to respect his opinion. INTEGRICO is the first free educational center for children from Ukraine.

Fifteen children can be trained in it. It is a mandatory condition that they are enrolled in Bulgarian schools and be between the first and seventh grade. Educators work with the children, who teach them mainly in Bulgarian, but also help with homework in all subjects. Familiarity with Bulgarian traditions and folklore is planned. The center also employs a psychologist and a speech therapist, who are Ukrainians.
