The humanitarian program for accommodation of Ukrainian refugees after May 31 will be open to hotels

At the suggestion of the National Headquarters, a decision was made that allows not only the departmental bases, but also the accommodation places registered in the National Tourist Register to participate in the new humanitarian program for accommodation of persons with temporary protection.

The new program, developed by the operational coordination group, provides BGN 15 per day per person per night and three meals.

“We are fully aware that this means that it will be able to include mainly lower-class accommodation, family hotels and guest houses. According to a reference in the system of the Ministry of Tourism, the capacity of the accommodation of only 1 and 2 stars amounts to 175,000 beds, “the appeal reads.
