The government has announced the structure and leadership of the crisis headquarters for the war in Ukraine

Europe has never been in a situation like this before. For the first time in the history of the European Union, the directive on immediate temporary protection applies. This raises many questions, to which the government is looking for the most correct answers around the clock. And the government finds them. And if they do not exist – they create them.

Today the government adopted the decision to provide temporary protection in Bulgaria, which provides a number of facilities and forms of assistance to all people who left Ukraine as a result of hostilities. The Council of Ministers also approved a program for the use of humanitarian aid for persons seeking temporary protection in the Republic of Bulgaria as a result of hostilities in the Republic of Ukraine. They are expected to be entitled to assistance for accommodation and meals in accommodation places registered in the National Tourist Register, in the total amount of BGN 40 without VAT.
