With HPE GreenLake, corporations will be able to transform their cloud-native and non-cloud native applications, create essential data and speed insights for teams to use effectively, and free up their staff to better address other business needs.
Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for the automation and reliability of the full stack, from the front-end, customer-facing applications to the back-end database and hardware infrastructure.
How you will make your mark:
Manage and provision of infrastructure through code
Operate and administer the stack covering: General system updates; System performance; Outage management; Change and capacity management
Provide leadership in technical incident and problem management and in their resolution, working closely with end customers and HPE remote and field support staff
Develop action plans to investigate and resolve complex issues/problems and communicate to engineers and customer
Lead delivery efforts for specific customer
Participate/Drive ITIL based practices
About you:
Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant
Experience with CentOS, Bright Cluster Manager, GPFS, Mellanox or equivalent
DevOps experience
Knowledge of automation and IaC toolchain (Ansible, Python, Jenkins, DSC, PowerShell, Bitbucket, etc.)
Advantage is knowledge on Docker, Azure, AWS
Ability to isolate and solve complex technical/business problems, to work independently and to interact with people at all levels, across all geographic regions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in English
