We are looking for an Accountant who will partner with the businesses to ensure that the capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused to secure the greatest return on investment for the global company. Gathers financial data and performs financial analyses and reporting (e.g., profit & loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, etc.) to influence decisions within the business and to drive cross-business initiatives (e.g., Mergers & Acquisitions).
Drives the forecasting process (weekly, monthly, and long term) by analyzing trends within the businesses and ensuring alignment with business- and corporate-wide objectives.
How you’ll make your mark:
Leading and supporting company’s overall accounting activities, ensuring compliance with the applicable tax and other regulatory documents.
Strictly keeping company’s finance policies and key accounting principles.
Maintaining contacts with banks and other financial institutions, interacting with external and internal auditors, NRA and other external parties.
Monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities and financial statements preparation.
Management reporting for different BUs within the company and cooperation with BU Finance.
Monthly reconciliations and review of all BS accounts.
Control over all accounting entries for compliance with local tax low, IFRS and Accounting and Finance Principles of the company.
Preparation and booking accruals and deferrals.
Monitoring and analyzing entity profitability
Checking and authorizing all outgoing payments to AP, NRA and payroll related payments, netting payments between local entity and the group, interacting with Treasury and bank.
Participating in projects related to NGenIT and non-standard countries localization.
About you:
Bachelor’s degree (undergraduate) or equivalent diploma in Business/Finance
Min 5-years prior experience in accounting roles /IFRS
Knowledge of income tax law
In depth knowledge of financial systems (ERP systems e.g SAP)
Practical/process experience for problem diagnosis and variance analysis
Accounting knowledge is required
International and multi-cultural mindset
Problem-solving and analysis skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
